Woody is a personal project derived from the great inner child in me. Ever since I was young, I always had an obsession for robots, as well as a hobby of up-cycling waste material. The robotic miniatures I created started off by the mixing and matching of leftover scrap-bits and fittings.

After gifting and sharing some of my miniatures with some friends, it quickly gained popularity. In fact, it evolved into an entertaining photographic icon that we use to keep in touch. Serendipitously, It has become a fun and lighthearted way of posting updates to each other. 

 To me, it was intended as a small up-cycling project that eventually turned into an icon of communication within my social circle.
